AUSTSWIM Teachers enjoy the genuine reward of teaching a variety of age and ability groups including infants, children, adults and people with a disability. AUSTSWIM Teachers of Swimming and Water Safety are a major force in the education and teaching of swimming and water safety in the community. ARV offer a range of accredited training programs to provide you with the necessary knowledge and skills to become an accredited AUSTSWIM Teacher.

Things to note:
- Candidates may enrol into an AUSTSWIM Teacher of Swimming and Water Safety course at 16 years of age but are not eligible to become an AUSTSWIM Teacher until they are 17 years of age.
- Candidates are required to have a reasonable level of fitness and swimming ability.
- Candidates may enrol into an extension course but cannot be issued the extension AUSTSWIM Teacher Licence until they have been issued the AUSTSWIM Teacher Licence in Teacher of Swimming and Water Safety
