Become a teacher of swimming and water safety? 

 

The AUSTSWIM Certificate is the industry standard for swimming and water safety teachers and is delivered and recognised in each state and territory of Australia and many countries overseas.  Go to AUSTSWIM Qualifications for more information.

 

 

ARV is developing a range of workshops to assist individuals broaden their knowledge, while also satisfying the re-registration requirements of industry recognised qualifications, such as AUSTSWIM.  Details on Professional Development Workshops will be available shortly.

 

Become involved in our VICSWIM Programs 

 

ARV, through its VICSWIM Program has been teaching children swimming and water safety since 1976.  Enrol your child in the next program or help a child's learning by teaching.  Go to VICSWIM Programs for more information on the new suite of activities.

 

 

Aquatic & Recreation Victoria is also building partnerships with the fitness industry to develop and implement 'Codes of Practice' for local aquatic and recreation facilities and management of outdoor personal training / fitness classes to assist local councils.
