TURNING CHALLENGES INTO OPPORTUNITIES IN 2016

Aquatics and Recreation Victoria (ARV) is pleased to announce detals for its annual Industry Conference to be held between 24-26 August 2016 at the Melbourne Park Function Centre.

As the leading industry professional development opportunity not to be missed, the theme of this year’s conference will be how the industry can Turn Challenges into Opportunities.  Features of the program include:
  • Three content streams - Strategic, Operational & Aquatic
  • 5x Key Note Speakers & 18x Concurrent Sessions
  • The Melbourne Tour which will take industry stakeholders to 3x facilities
  • Larger Trade Exhibition with up to 33x trade booths
  • Networking Drinks Function

This broad industry touches all members of the community, involves the building and maintenance of millions of dollars in infrastructure and community assets and provides a significant economic contribution through its multiple employment opportunities and high levels of revenue generation.

The Conference will showcase a range of high profile speakers and industry specialists and focus on three (3) distinct streams – including a range of relevant strategic, aquatic and current operational matters that will provide delegates with key practical advice and takeaways.

On Wednesday, 24 August 2016, prior to the first day of the Conference, ARV will conduct the hugely popular “Melbourne Tour”, which will include site visits to some of Australia’s newest, most impressive and redeveloped aquatic and recreation facilities.

The conference proper kicks off on Thursday, 25 August 2016 and concludes mid-afternoon on Friday, 26 August 2016.  In addition to the various presentations and sessional speakers over the two days, ARV will once again be incorporating a boutique trade exhibition involving a range of key industry suppliers and service providers.  For further information regarding the trade exhibition, please refer to Sponsorship & Exhibition Prospectus.

To make it more attractive for delegates, ARV has reviewed its pricing structure for 2016, and is as follows:
