ARV Summit ‘Brings People Together ’
Despite the prominence of AFL Grand Final replay, over 180 delegates and industry trade representatives attended the ARV Summit over Friday 1st and Saturday 2nd October at the high profile Melbourne Sports & Aquatic Centre (MSAC).
Delegates had the opportunity of hearing from successful businessman and AFL coach Grant Thomas and successful businesswoman and former World Aerobics Champion Sue Stanley as keynote speakers over the two days, in addition to participating in a broad based professional development program. Both days’ programs culminated in the opportunity for delegates to discuss industry issues and renew friendships at the cocktail functions.
“It was pleasing to see the support received by industry trade exhibitors and a range of delegates from varying areas of the industry”, ARV Chief Executive Officer, Mr Ian Swan explained.
“As the theme for this year’s Summit suggested, the range of current issues and practical sessions that were provided for delegates will hopefully stimulate ongoing discussion among industry professionals and bring people together”, he said.
ARV Summit was supported by a range of sponsors and partners including MSAC, AUSTSWIM, Centaman Systems, Water Exercise Training Services (WETS), Kinect Australia, Fitness Australia, Australian Leisure Facilities Association (ALFA) and Heliocol Solar.
