Victoria has 279 publicly owned pools and hundreds more recreation facilities across the state. While pools and recreational facilities enjoy a profoundly successful connection with the Victorian community, our industry faces many challenges. The aim of the conference is to create a forum to hear the issues, understand the challenges, explore the trends and contribute to the solutions through a regional lens.

Registration to the ARV Regional Conference 2018 includes two days of industry presentations and workshops along with a ticket to attend the conference dinner held on Wednesday 9th of May. Refreshments and lunch will be included throughout the two day event. Accommodation to be purchased separately.   

Dr Bridie O'Donnell, Head for Women in Sport and Recreation joins the list of more than 20 presenters as one of the programs two keynote speakers along with the growing list of presentation topics below

The ARV Regional Conference encourages the attendance of: Facility Managers, Aquatic Coordinators, Operations Coordinators, Providers of products and professional services to ARC's, Local government managers and coordinators in sport, leisure, recreation and parks, State Government professionals, Committees of management and other interested stakeholders

The Conference also incorporates a trade exhibition for industry suppliers and providers to showcase their products and services.

Conveniently located just 75 minutes from the Melbourne CBD, Mercure Ballarat is situated opposite the multi-award winning Sovereign Hill, with close proximity to the historic centre of Ballarat.
