Advancing Women in Aquatics and Recreation - Supported by Perfect Gym
ARV are excited to announce the 3rd Advancing Women in Aquatics and Recreation Leadership Series to join the 2023 ARV Calendar of Events.
This program is designed for women within the aquatics and recreation industry who want to enhance their leadership skills. Throughout the program, women will participate in a formal development experience based on 50 critical competencies for advancement. The program offers a unique opportunity for women to develop beyond the traditional focus of building interpersonal skills, self-efficacy, and confidence. The program's core objective is to help women discover THE MISSING 33%, often overlooked in women's development experiences. Women will learn how to identify, develop, and demonstrate leadership excellence skills required for career advancement and improve their business, strategic, and financial acumen.
ARV and the director of Advancing Women in Sport & Business, Michelle Redfern partner together to facilitate a series of monthly workshops across a 4-month period. Each workshop provides a combination of facilitated learning, structured networking and practical pragmatic leadership, business and commercial skills development for women. The program also welcomes special guest presentations by Advancing Women Ambassadors.
I thoroughly enjoyed the ARV Advancing Women workshops. Not only did I get to meet and develop new networks with some amazing women, but I finished the program with a clear direction and passion for where I want to take my career in this industry - Kim Marshall
