Victorian Flood Crisis
Published Tue 18 Oct 2022
Victorian Flood Crisis
Like all Victorians, ARV are feeling for the communities affected by the floods across the state.
Not only are facilities impacted, but the staff, members, suppliers, contractors and patrons of these communities.
We're hearing & seeing stories of huge impact on Victorian pools and facilities, who are largely gearing up for opening seasonal facilities. Among this are many stories of community spirit and support.
The aerial photo above was shared with us from Shepparton Aquamoves, only one example of Aquatic and Recreation facilities impacted across the industry.
ARV will continue to advocate and support all Aquatics and Recreation industry members. If you or your facility requires assistance, please reach out to ARV.
Please remember: do not drive through flood waters.
